Q: What are your venue and weather requirements for outdoor performances?
A: To protect our delicate wooden instruments, outdoor performances require complete overhead shade (such as a covered patio, pop-up tent, or large trees) and temperatures strictly between 58°F and 90°F. If weather conditions fall outside this range or active precipitation occurs, an indoor backup space must be provided.
Q: How does the custom song arrangement process work?
A: If your dream walk-down-the-aisle or special moment song isn’t in our 250+ title catalog, our in-house arrangers will custom-transcribe and voice it specifically for your chosen ensemble for $125 per song. We require at least 3 weeks’ advance notice to arrange, transcribe, and rehearse new pieces.
Q: Do you bring your own sound equipment or chairs?
A: We perform 100% acoustically, which naturally fills standard ceremony spaces, indoor halls, and cocktail hours. We do not provide or carry sound amplification, microphones, or audio equipment. If your event has a large guest count (200+ guests) or an amplified outdoor setup, your hired DJ or AV team will need to provide the microphones and sound system for us to play into. We only ask that the venue or client provide armless chairs (4 for Quartet, 3 for Trio, 2 for Duet).
Q: What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A: A 50% deposit and a signed digital contract are required to lock in your event date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the event.
Cancellations 30+ days out: Full refund of all payments made.
Cancellations within 30 days: The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you have already paid in full, you will receive a 50% refund (the remaining balance portion).
Rescheduling: Your deposit is fully transferable to a new date if requested at least 30 days in advance (subject to ensemble availability).
Q: Do you perform at wedding rehearsals?
A: As seasoned professionals with hundreds of events under our belt, we do not attend ceremony rehearsals. We coordinate all timing and entrance cues directly with your wedding planner or officiant on the day of the event during our standard 30-minute pre-event arrival. If you strongly prefer having live music at your rehearsal, we can book it as an additional service—charged at our standard hourly rates and subject to musician availability.
Q: How early do you arrive at the venue?
A: We arrive 30 minutes prior to our scheduled start time for tuning, warming up, and coordinating final cues with your planner or officiant—at no extra charge to you.
